Pond Cypress — The Vertical Memory of Nature

In the building’s deepest level, five pond cypress trees are planted, rising vertically through five stories. These trees, deeply rooted yet aspiring upward, reconnect the lowest floor with light and sky.

This space is known as The Hollow—a subterranean void that offers a rare perspective: to look up at nature from below. From the sunken base, visitors can see the slender trees piercing through the structure, bathed in light from above. The sunlight travels downward along the branches, illuminating the concrete void.

This place, once enclosed and inert, becomes a beginning—not an end. It becomes a point where memory, matter, and nature silently reunite.
